Very nice. I especially love the pivoting bogies - those trucks look beautiful when they animate.  :)

Pivoting trucks underneath. They look like R46 trucks a little bit.
Just for the record, all R10-R68A cars use the same Cast Truck Design.
BeeRyDavis has a point though. The trucks from the R16 to the R42 have these parts that distinguish them from later cars. When the R62s/R62As and the 75-footers came, those parts weren't present on their trucks.
Previously known as pjiang6211

Which parts? just wondering.
(to those wondering, these are actually the R46 trucks, was testing them out to see how it would fit the R16. The actual trucks for the R16 will be added later on, as well as the underbody.)

DJ is right the R-10 thru R-68A series have the same trucks there may have been modifications for smoother rides in the past decade or so but very little differences. The R-46 trucks or SMEE trucks on the R-16 is fine but for more realism they can use some weathering textures so the blue springs coils are not noticeable: as an SMS

The cross seats are here! Thanks to rikabs for his efforts!
(now the longitude seats are pending...)

Also due to a major contradiction between the NY Transit Museum's R16 and the Kingston Trolley Museum of NY's R16 regarding the floor, both floor types will be included

Trolley Museum Of NY Floor Layout (this also happens to be the original floor layout, according to various interior pics in nycsubway.org)

New York Transit Museum Floor Layout

Now to resume fixing up the interior  so it is adjusted to the proper BMT size width (it had the old IRT size width)

For the more detailed version, here's some adjustments.
Underbody still pending and the longitude seats.

Probably may be the first and last high resolution NYCTA OpenBVE train of it's kind. Not many people are ready for higher resolutions (and it's file size)..

The major advantage of higher resolutions shows in rounded objects, such as the door windows, rollsign boxes, and in the case of my R16, the porthole storm door windows.

Well those who are able to run it, good for you.

In other words, just a few screenshots. Working on the interior textures as of now.

Notice how they are more rounded?

Again, the RFW view:

Slow process of the photorealistic textures and other major adjustments.

The low res version in the meantime will be on hold until the high res version is nearly done.

Can't really do much about the cab view. Still is a challenge to try to get a cab shot...

Until i can get a shot of the proper R16 cab, or if someone has one, i can't really do much about the cab.

This is looking amazing, good job! The end-car wall could use a bit of work though, to look equal to the RFW view.

It is now properly identified as a Westinghouse propulsion car. So if you want to change the car number using the template, make sure it starts with 63, then you got the range from 00 to 99.

Apparently, some or all older subway cars had a sticker near the cab window, which would either sport a W or a G, presumably Westinghouse or General Electric, respectively.

(that little blue line you see is from the grid view that i have enabled to better place the objects)

And in real life, here's an R12 with the G sticker:

and an R11 with the W sticker:

Based on the datasheets and etc, the usage of the W and G stickers seem to be used to mark whether the car is a Westinghouse or G.E propulsion.

Now has brand new windows

Bulkhead rollsigns now have a more realistic incandescent bulb look when using the train on night routes or has dark tunnels (as long as it uses brightness)
