I put in R160 announcements into the E train sound folder but when I play the E train, No announcements come out.

Do the files have the right names? Download the one from the Need Sounds Thread.

You have to change the names of the files to the names in the route file.

Rename the files to the one's your replaced. The route file still thinks you have the old ones there but you don't. Hence why no sounds play
