Official Update Thread for OpenBVE Amtrak Routes
« on: November 04, 2015, 04:57:56 pm »
Long overdue, here is the OpenBVE Amtrak Route update thread. Amtrak trains and railroad routes that run through Amtrak territory may be posted here as well. It is just in due time that I introduce this thread, as I the release of the City of New Orleans route fragment will soon be upon us. The route extends 44 miles through Mississippi, has an operating time of 45 minutes, and only has three station stops including the origin. Here are some WIP pictures of the route:

Proud to say that after slightly under a week in development, the Amtrak City of New Orleans Route Fragment from Hazlehurst, MS to McComb, MS via Brookhaven, MS is up for release. The route is available via the brand new Amtrak for OpenBVE Project Site at http://mrsam127.wix.com/amtrak-for-openbve by clicking the Amtrak Downloads tab. The route is 44 miles long and has an operating time of 45 minutes, and of course it utilizes the P42DC for power and Superliner Cars for passengers.
