I'm getting down to work on my next route, the Blackton Line.
The Blackton Line is a 10 kilometres long line that stretches from Townsville to Promenade. It runs through the city centre, and serves the residential districts on the northeastern and western parts of Harbourvale City. This line was built at the same time as the Kegstone Line, thus both lines will utilise the Caroye Depot built within Caroye District. The lines will have crossovers between each other to allow for the Blackton Line to use the depot.
The Blackton Line and Kegstone Line are the first two lines to fall under the new category of 'Medium Capacity Lines' as they both are served by the three-car C591s. These two lines are also among the first to feature unique station designs, as the emphasis now is on design and architecture rather than functionality.
Here are some pictures to start off, these two photos are from BL1 Townsville station.
