I just got a new laptop about 2 weeks ago and am running 8.1 and never had a problem installing. I followed instructions from this:

make sure you have both SDL.dll and OpenAL installed, always run as administrator and make sure eveything's up to date like .net 4

NYCTA Projects / Re: (Wip) Official Development Of R62/R68 Subway Cars
« on: April 03, 2015, 10:30:17 am »
The R62/62a's are already currently under development by Bstyles and few other members.

The R62/A, R68/A, & R110A/B are all being worked on but this does not stop anyone from making a train or route whether it's for personal use or released to the public. Just as long as it is their coding and not copies from other trains already released. For that you must speak to the original developer if you copy coding or textures

It is currently in development. There is a video here: You can, of course, develop a route on your own even if it's already in development. Just know that route developing is a very serious project.

That is not the 4 line that is the 6 line. There is a reason why they start on the wrong side of 125, go local, & terminate at Brooklyn Bridge. Don't get confused by the announcements.

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Re: Problems with Reversed in Extensions.cfg
« on: February 21, 2015, 10:24:46 am »
why not just take out reverse = true from the extentions file  ???. what you did was turn the train car around so the doors will open the opposite way. Only time people usually use that code is for the trucks. If you're trying to turn the train around don't do it with the extensions file or else the doors will be reversed as well. you have to turn the train around from within the animated file where its main .b3d file is using the rotatefunction

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Re: NYCTA J/Z &M Lines
« on: February 03, 2015, 08:40:05 pm »
I have a question.  I downloaded the J/Z and M lines for BVE Station.  After installing, I do not have the trains asked for by the route.  The J/Z needs an R160A (4CARS) and the M needs an R160 (8CARS).   Any idea where I can find them or should I just rename the R160's that I already have?  Thanks for the help.

Ignore that just download the R160 if you don't have it yet and search for it in the train section of openbve after you selected the route you want to use

Check now  ;D

All the development is great, but is the developement still working? I feel like there's a lot of inactivity with OpenBVE at the moment :(
Trust me all trains are being worked on right now. It has been quiet on the forums lately since not as much people seem to come on here like before but some developers do post on the facebook pages. The R62/A is coming along well along with many others  ;D

Major updates to the R110A A Car ;D

There's already a R110A in development by myself on this thread: I haven't been posting but I have an interior created already. But keep up your progress I would like to see what comes out of this and nice job by the way ;D
