Hammers, I suggest contacting the person who made the original R36, because it's rather accurate soundwise. At least from old videos I've heard...

It's gonna have the R-12, 15, 17 right? (as exterior ((possible interior))?)

If I can get permission, sure.

Some work is being done sound-wise on the R33-ML. Expect a better screeching sound as well as better run sounds.

The RFW version of the R33-WF is progressing slowly due to school work.

This thread will be for the R33-WF and R33-WF RFW view ONLY.

The R33-ML will remain in the original thread (Which has had it's name changed from the TOMC thread to the R33-ML thread)

Here is the link to the R33-ML thread: http://forums.bvestation.com/index.php?topic=86.new#new

BTW Mr. Railfan I can deal completely with the RFW view version that I was working on before; the panel is pretty much done. When the normal R33-WF is finished on your end, send it to me and I will basically synchronize the two trains in terms of sounds and performance and I will put some finishing touches on them like windshield wipers, etc.

Other Random Note:

Does anybody know what happened to that Redbird exterior being created back on the old forums?

Official Update Thread For The NYCTA R33-ML |||| Project Split and Information
« Reply #9 on: February 13, 2011, 02:32:09 am »
Because of recent developments the TOMC project has been split. The R33-WF and R33-WF RFW view is going forward as a joint project between me and Mr. Railfan.

As for the R33-ML, work will continue to progress slowly due to the large amount of work I have in school this year (You all have NO idea how much it is :P).

I think i do have an idea on the amount. That's the reason i'm not working on any massive / big (Train) projects lately,

I believe pjang6211 and r36_9346?  were making one. If I'm right, none of them are on this forums yet. I tried looking on the old forums and couldn't find anything although i know what you're talking about

Sure No probs .

Btw you do know that the windshield wiper was operated by this lever :

and will have to be synchronized with the actual windshield because the TO would have to move that every time he needed to operate the windshield wipers.

Yeah that should be easy to implement (in fact a similar feature is implemented in the R38)

Just one question, to turn on the wiper, do you pull the lever up or down?

Just keep in mind that these features can only be implemented in a train using the panel2.cfg system and not the panel.cfg system.

The train looks beautiful! This is going to be a classic on the future (7) by EDawg!

By the way, do you guys know which  propulsion system the R33WF uses and what trains sound similar to it? I have a few recordings of 32s and I'll gladly contribute them if the 33WFs sounded like them.
