I forgot if it was a collision or a derailment, but anyone remember; I believe it was a B train right before Dekalb Ave, this was probably a long while back when some of the forum members were still in the single digit years.

Another one, can't really say it was a derailment but kind of caused one?  The L train incident at Rockaway.

I remembered that incident - it was a D train that derailed right before DeKalb Ave.

http://www.nycsubway.org/cars/r68.html   if you scroll down a little bit to where it say "Car Notes" youll see what happend to cars # 2805 and 2807, and for the L train it was an incident when a motorman had a set of R143s and to put it back to the yard but then had a seizure which caused a bumper block overshoot.  http://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?50220  picture does not belong to me

I heard that a MFL (Market Frankford Line) here in Philly derailed before.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market%E2%80%93Frankford_Line
March 7, 1990: Three people were killed and another 162 were injured when the last three cars of six-car train #61 derailed leaving 30th Street Station westbound at 8:20AM. It is believed that one of the traction motors dropped out of the rear truck on the third car (M3) somewhere between 15th and 30th street stations, and it became entangled in a switch immediately upon leaving 30th street station. The front truck of the fourth car (M3 #818) followed the third car, while the rear truck of the fourth car took the diverging track, causing the car to shear halfway upon striking the steel pillars separating the tracks beyond the switch.
