This Is The Forest Hills 71 Ave Bound (W) Train.The Next Stop Is.Times Sq 42 St.Stand Clear Of the closing doors please.

And A Nother One
This Is Times Sq 42 St.Transfer Is Avalible to the (1)(2)(3)(N)(Q)(R)(NX) Trains.

Make a new folder or rename the files(sound) over the originals.

How about you try yourself use audacity and piece them together how other people do.I'll do your 1st request of the (W).

Not to my knowledge. Since the R110As were out of service since 1999, I doubt anyone has any announcements from that train.

Actually Check youtube. TransferPoint is the username for user that has a few announcements.

NYC Subway:On-board R-142A (6) #7339(Whitlock Avenue to Parkchester)
If anyone is willing to steal the announcement part go ahead skim to 5 min 25 sec its 2 announcements and thats it.

A few useable sounds in here

(And some sounds at 125th while I was waiting for my Pelham Bay bound train)

Took an exterior recording of an R143 L train from 8th Ave to Union Sq yesterday but too lazy to upload the site lol...see what you can make out of this that isn't drowned by the hvac noise

Anyhow, I'm back to posting recordings I've come across, but before I start posting new announcements, I figured I'd update the ones we have already.

Today's update: the (F) to Jamaica-179 St
added correct and/or better sounding transfers to the following stations:
  • Jay St-MetroTech (LN)/(OT)
  • 2 Av (LN)
  • Broadway-Lafayette St (wkdays)
  • W 4 St-Washington Sq (wkdays)
  • 14 St (wkdays)
  • 34 St-Herald Sq (wkdays)/(LN)
  • 42 St-Bryant Park (wkdays)
  • 47-50 Sts/Rockefeller Ctr (wkdays)
  • Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av (wkdays)/(wknds)

You can download the individual files here or the zipped folder here.

Also, on a slightly off topic note, I was wondering how the developers would feel about me fixing the route files so the automated announcements play when the doors open rather than when they're closing.
