i downloaded it and for some reason when i try to access the exterior during the game it doesnt work

just click on the train itself, don't click on the individual train sets in side the folder.

yea i did i mean in game while im driving the train if i press f2 to see the exterior the game freezes and exits

It probably has to do with the amount of detail put into the train. Some computers won't be able to handle the exterior, mine included unfortunately.
