NYCTA Projects / Re: (WIP) The Complete IRT Development Thread
« on: December 30, 2017, 09:58:33 am »
All those addface errors are from object bender and don't actually effect the route.  Make sure y'all are putting your objects into Railway\Object.  A lot of people have been putting objects in the wrong folder with this route for some reason.  Make sure you have the 6, LisaRaye2 and the Culver pack installed before you install the 5.  When you install the 5 make sure to overwrite objects when asked.

Trust me I've never had any issues with objects missing or anything before and it's been like a lot of years (like 10+)  Even before making a post here I double checked everything. Copied things over even though I put everything where it should be. I even dragged the folders one by one in corresponding places from the 5 train .RAR file and there is no overlap of folders or anything. My parent folders are organizing the child folders nicely and as should. Ie. Railway>Object>LisaRaye2
Every object folder is in the object folder, sound folders in sound and so on.
Even the 6 train route I have is perfectly fine without missing station roofs or anything.  So I am stumped. Have you checked if maybe the .rar is fine?

Update 2: Guys having this issue, somehow an object folder here has "modified 2011" files that I overwrote without thinking/looking and the ones I had were "modified 2013". I restored my 2013 ones from a backup and it fixed some of of the issues in this 5 route (but not all, still a bunch of things missing). So maybe it's the same for ya.

I still have objects missing :/

Yep it's the same issue with me too as I described above.

By the way, I am getting over 600 errors and almost 2k warnings when I load the NTT 5x no fog route. I checked the log and it's full of things like

Any suggestions?

I have to agree with the guy above, I have everything to the T (no subway pun intended) and there's a lottttttt of things missing. All my other (non-5) routes are fine as they come.

Update 2: Happens in the other 5 train routes also whether it's NTT OR SMEE.

OMG THANK YOUUUU !!! I'VE BEEN WAITING PATIENTLY FOR LIKE A DECADE FOR THIS 5 TRAIN!!! CHEERS AND BEERS  (LEAST NOW BECAUSE 10 YEARS AGO I WAS 17) LOL. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Well, I stopped posting here because I always felt like I was being ignored or no one really around. Sometime's I'd try to spark things up with a holiday post or something along those lines to get folks chatting and it didn't get anywhere. I've been a member since I was in HS and I am 26 now- One thing is for sure, BVEstation peeps have even stopped making holiday announcements (not even generic ones) so it made me feel it was like...dead (lack of word atm) as far up as site-admin level.

General BVE/OpenBVE / Re: OPENBVE Has been So quiet lately?

I doubt that could be the only reason. I mean it's almost completely dead... Like no more of Happy Thanksgiving on main page. No Merry Xmas. Nothing. Not even a hello on the main page. I mean I think BVE station does feel dead because as busy as people can be, 2mins greeting or a featured post of some kind etc shouldn't be much. Just my 2c.

Don't go through the trouble of trying to make OpenBVE routes work on  HmmSim as the developer has long announced that a 2nd version (under development) will support OpenBVE routes out of the box.

Minor differences thats all.

Minor as in?

Ahhh I see! That's totally fine! No problem! Of course. I was just curious since it wasn't ever mentioned again. Thanks for the headsup Dj Hammers!  Keep up the awesomness. :D

Anyone know if the G will be extended to Church Av? Considering F is out and the stations are detailed and updated...

WOW! I used to think about something like this. That's great! What trainset will be used? I would assume one that has/have been developed inside and outside with animations (ie. door close/open)?

NYCTA Projects / Re: Status of Routes as of February 2014
« on: March 19, 2014, 12:15:21 am »
Look at the bottom of the post. Even though the original post was made in 2011, it has been edited multiple times throughout the years in order to update information. The information you see there is actually the most current route status.

I am fine myself this was a heads-up from other people I know who were telling me it was confusing, and even though I managed to get it, it was, just for a spur of the moment, so merely made a suggestion. :) Hopefully those who read your post YankeesPwnMets will now know so thank you! On other note, I would still appreciate it if someone gave me a heads up on the main core of what I mentioned before! Thanks!
