Title: 8/6th AV Local/Express
Post by: R42Awesome44 on May 29, 2013, 01:01:59 pm
Hey BVE community, have you ever wondered why the A and D were express lines and the B and C are local?

WELL HERE'S A POSSIBILITY:

The A and D represent Christ's death A.D.(after death)

The B and C represent B.C.(before Christ)

A.D. doesn't stand for after death, it stands for Anno Domini meaning "modern years" in Latin.

It stands for both.

It actually doesn't. It's a very commonly mistaken, but as trainbrain said it stands for "anno Domini"

Can we not bump three year old topics? Thanks. If you are going to bump such an old topic, the reply better be useful rather than something completely pointless.

Locked.
