Title: Trainsimcentral has closed
Post by: ipac on June 08, 2011, 12:43:54 am
While this is technically last month's news, trainsimcentral.co.uk one of the popular BVE websites hosting a number of London Underground and other European routes and trains has closed.  OpenBVE's website has also moved as well to trainsimframework.org

This unfortunately means that the add-ons formerly hosted at trainsimcentral.co.uk will not be available until a new site is put online.  Of course we'll update everyone whenever a new site returns.

Thats reassuring to hear.  We wish Steve well, and we look forward to the return.
Title: BVE4.net has now closed

BVE4.net, the site hosting the very popular Network West Midlands has now closed.

From the bve4.net homepage:

Owing to permissions being withdrawn for a quantity of the objects/textures which made up the NWM routes, the pages and downloads have been taken offline.

There were plans to host the Trainsimcentral and BVE4.net files on a new server, but they may, or may not return. I don't wish to be part of this 'community' at the moment. No discussion will be entered into.

Many thanks for all your support and for the offers of hosting since TSC closed.
