Title: ct1660's R16 & R68
Post by: R32Ctrain on December 07, 2013, 08:57:57 pm
When I use ct1660's R16 or R68, I keep seeing white square floating in front of the train, and would like to get rid of them somehow. Thanks

Most likely it's because the wrong transparency color was used in the texture image for the front. It's usually supposed to be blue (unless coded otherwise). Simply use an image editing program to change the area around the front texture in the texture image to the blue color.

Can you show me a screenshot? Which version of my R16 are you using? This way i can address some bugs before i release the next major update for the R16 and R68.

In the other hand, does your PC use a version of the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (pre-Intel HD Graphics)? Or dedicated graphics (AMD/ATI or NVIDIA)?

I am having the same problems too. Anytime i am driving the R16 R17 and R68, the cab is messed up. What i ma trying to say is part of the cab is cut off and different objects is floating/blocking the cab. What is going on? the graphics driver i am using is an Intel (R) 82865G Graphics Controller.

It's an issue with how the GMA-series of chipsets handles the texture rendering. The trainsets were optimized for dedicated graphics cards (ATI/AMD and NVIDIA). If you get the greyish squares or areas, the chipset cannot support high-res textures.

As for the R16, try the LQ version which i made specifically for intel integrated graphics
