Hello,
Many people here seem to have trouble in converting Modeling tool to BVE Object format.
So, I developed measures below in 2011~2012, which will make you do converting work in a very easy way.
I hope this will be so helpful to many BVE Add-on developers.
1. How to export directly from 3Ds Max

Available only in 3Ds Max 2010, 2012 version
(1) Decompress and prepare ExportCSV.dle file which corresponds to your max version.
(2) Put the dle flie in '3ds max directory'\plugins folder.
(3) Check max unit settings to meter.
(4) Attach every object to editable mesh as much as you can.
(5) Export

Also, I 've developed the tool to convert .3DS file.
