Hello fellow subway motorman, motorwomen, and moderators. I noticed traveling from Grand Central station to Times Square shuttle run, there's a eastbound static shuttle train still occupying the station track blocking my incoming westbound, it looks as if its about to negotiate the outbound switch. My train and the static trains seem to only be placeholders without their graphic detail. I'm in the process of upgrading my system here as I also run TS2013. This issue may be already addressed somewhere on the forum but I couldn't locate it. Thanks a mil!

well it could just be that the train you use does not have an exterior view, if so it will show as a grey box.

This issue is a bug in the route. Just open the route file with Microsoft Excel or a text editor and remove the "Run.Interval" line of the code.

I did find it a little strange that my operating trains' exterior showed as a placeholder graphic on this route, but you're right, the developers of some of these awesome subway greats will specify if they have an exterior view or no.

Threxx1, that was the ticket my friend! now we're uncongested. I remember many years back there was a very nice lady that worked that refreshment and snack stand there at the Grand Central stop/platform just a few feet away as you stepped out of the first car. 8)

The 42nd Street shuttle is an older route made for BVE 2, so there are some slight compatibility issues.
We are thinking (THINKING, not doing) of updating the route to a higher level of realism and making it fully compatible with openBVE.
