Title: Turn off the doors closing automatically

Does anyone know how to deactivate the option for the doors closing automatically

For openBVE,
to have manual only train door control via keys F5 and F6,
in file TRAIN.DAT section #DEVICE,
set the 9th and 10th values as 2.

For some reason i cnt edit the train.dat it pops up as a music file  :-\

What OS are you running?
For Windows,
right click on TRAIN.DAT,
left click "Open With...",
select your preferred text editor (NotePad, NotePad2, etc),
check "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file",
then click "OK".

aright, i know how to turn off the automatic door close, how do I turn it back on?

OK, easy tutorial:

0: Semi-Automatic
1: Automatic (doors can't be opened/closed manually)
2: Manual only

Use these values in the last two lines of the #DEVICE section of the Train.dat you are trying to edit.

The documentation link for TRAIN.DAT #DEVICE is already noted above.
You should read for your self and not have to be spoon fed.

above it talks about turn off doors closing automatically, it doesnt talk about turning it back on until Threxx1 posted. i meant what number 2 put in 2 turn the automatic doors close back on. Thanks Threxx1.
