Title: MTA Cutting Service on 12 Bus lines

I came upon this today. The service cuts which are expected to take place in July mightn't save any money at all though. Comments?

It suck now. Now it fell like NYC need dollar van all over city.

They are only weekend cuts, with the exceptions mentioned. As long as weekday service remains, for the most part, the way it is i'm good.

THis is Horrible . The B42 should be getting more service if anything . During RUSH HOURS the bus sometimes takes 20+ minutes to arrive at Rockaway Pkwy station . while waiting for the bus to arrive about 10 L trains terminate and the station gets dangerously crowded . It reminds me of the Lex during rush hours. Then when the bus actually arrives it gets so packed you cant even get on . Even during weekends with the lower amount of people using it , the bus still gets so packed you cant enter.

The Q18 needs more service as I wait for it sometimes for more then 20+ Minutes during rush Hours I usually wait 13+ Minutes anyways Like Mr Railfan said the B42 shouldn't be cut at all I highly doubt they should cut  the B41 Either.

Damn, more bus cuts? This is insane.

I hope they know that by cutting bus routes it doesn't do anything to decrease congestion, or help the budget, especially if they keep getting new buses every other day. It just makes no sense.
