(Y) Line Update Thread
« on: January 01, 2011, 03:15:45 pm »
The (Y) Line for OpenBVE has been released to the public. In this route, the line is only a Crosstown Shuttle route going from Williamsbridge-Gun Hill Road to Parkchester-East 177 Street. This is NOT the final version as we are still working to get the line extended via the HL line.

The link to the download is: http://trevordaybveworld.com/pg/2Ave/index.php

In this route, there are some new features:

- 1 version for the Y Line and a W via the Y line

- Animated Trainsets (all trains, with the exception of Williamsbridge, are animated and moving)

- Spark Features (some distances have sparks)

- Timers and Animated signals (the route has some timers and timed signals thanks to TJay1794)

- Realistic Buildings, Apartments and a school (these are high quality structures)

We want to thank the members of the Trevor Day Gaming Network and the BVEStation website for the work they provided to make this download available. This has been in the works for the past 3 years and is still being worked on.

Thanks to the following people: Ipac, Error46146, Phantom909, Bebo, Nyctrman, Lexington456, Mikey, MalJordMit142, JayJay85, Edawg, Joakiym, Slants and TJay1794

NYCT (Y) Line BETA Version up for Download
« Reply #1 on: January 22, 2011, 08:15:14 pm »
Okay guys the (Y) Line BETA is up for Download. The instructions are clearly stated on the download page. You basically need ALL of JayJay85's routes and the V Line to run the BETA version. You will also need the R153 Trainset to run this program. Because of the fact that the R153 is only for OpenBVE, you will be required to use BVE Route Randomizer if you want to use this version for BVE. Here's the link for the download.

Please be advised, this is NOT the finished version. Do not ask for when the (Y) will be completed because we don't know.

More updates will be following on the Final Version of the (Y) line.

Thank you and comment on the version.

LOVE IT! one problem. i used the R152 to run the route and i was literally CRAWLING up that slope into Franklin Ave! Extremely detailed, a bit laggy here and there but no problems besides when im waiting to leave a station. it takes forever to  leave.

If you are talking about the R152, keep in mind the thread for the R152/R153 is http://forums.bvestation.com/index.php?topic=246. Please only talk about the (Y) line here. Thanks.

And thanks for the comments. You haven't really seen anything yet. I will start taking my photos and videos again now that I have extra time. Expect some soon.

The route is perfecto everywhere except a few places..

Tremont Avenue and some stations around it have no textures for me o.O (and I don't know WHICH of JayJay's lines use them, so I have no idea where to get them, as of now, it's a blank platform).
You COULD add some buildings around the el area, so it could look less empty (just a suggestion!)

Other then that, i love it. :D
R1-103 will debut next summer!

Remember, it's a Beta release, so the route's not as detailed as it should be.

The Beta Release Is not What its like When Fully Finished
A Beta Release is not supposed to show the Full Touch
The Full Version is to show The best of the route .

The (Y) has resumed development and work is being done between Williamsbridge and Fordham. The first BETA version was a test to see what was needed to be done to get the route done.

Now for the other news. The (Y) will be released in shifts (meaning just like the (F) line, the (Y) will be released when certain points are done). The first official release (in which will be in the next few weeks) will feature the following stations:

Williamsbridge-Gun Hill Road

210th Street

205th Street - Norwood (D) (U)

Bedford Park Blvd

197th Street

AND

Fordham Road

So be prepared for more photos of the route. Unfortunately the videos may not be available at this time until I install FRAPS back on my laptop.

(Y) Line BETA + R152/153/110B/PA-5
« Reply #13 on: March 19, 2011, 11:21:17 pm »
I want to apologize to all our members who were anxiously waiting for the downloads to come in. I was in another situation and couldn't get the downloads on time. However, the downloads are now available on the website.

Please head to the Downloads section for your download
http://www.trevordaybveworld.com/Downloads.html

Here's what is available now:

R110B: The R110B is now available for OpenBVE ONLY!!! A BVE 2/4 version is currently in development and will be out as soon as possible. This trainset features only a exterior (no interior). We are the only site to have the R110B. Download it today. BTW, this is NOT TREVOR LOGAN JR'S TRAINSET!!!!

R152: The R152 has been updated for OpenBVE. The update primarily changes the design of the trainset exterior/interior as well as some sound upgrades.

R153: The R153 has been updated for OpenBVE. The update is significant due to the fact that now the entire trainset has been changed. More information can be seen in the Update Thread, but the major differences are the sounds, the new curved roof and 8 different cars.

PA-5: Trevor Day BVE World is proud to host the PA-5 for OpenBVE. A BVE 2/4 version will be coming soon. Download the PA-5.

(Y) BETA #1: The new (Y) has been released to the public for BETA releases. It features stations from Williamsbridge-Gun Hill Road to Fordham Road.

I would like to thank those for being patient and here's your trainsets/routes for you to enjoy. If you have any questions, comments and/or concerns, please reply to this thread on here or on the Trevor Day School forums thread at http://trevordaybveworld.com/forums/index.php?topic=26.msg44#new. Thank you and enjoy your evening/day.
