Title: Independence Day Weekend Releases
Post by: ipac on July 01, 2011, 07:43:18 pm
To start off the Independence Day Weekend right, amidst all the closures of many major BVE websites, we've got some releases today.

First off we've got the Crosstown 9 route by coneyislandDFNQ (DRT)  Download it via link below.  You will need the A to run the route.

For more information check out the forum post: http://forums.bvestation.com/index.php?topic=644.0 (http://forums.bvestation.com/index.php?topic=644.0)

Second we've got the FIRR (Fictional Long Island Railroad) by ipaclansite.  You may have seen this route if you have watched error's R160 test run videos.  The route was never released, despite being out for well over a year.  The route has never been worked on, and only has those two stops just like the video.  You can download it via link below.

Happy Independence Day, and enjoy!  :D

I installed the 9 line and the installer just dumped a hell lot of object files directly into my Objects folder -.- It didn't create any folder, like 8thAve or 12thAve instead every object file was dumped into the root of the folder.

Changing the directories installed should fix this

BVE4: C:\Program Files\mackoy\BVE4\Railway\Object\Mermaid Avenue
BVE2: C:\Program Files\BVE\Railway\Object\Mermaid Avenue

Also, the trains on other tracks move, but after a certain point they just respawn back, move up to the same point and respawn back to their original l.. its kinda awkward to me

Hmm.. Turns out that happened to me too, no wonder why nothing was working.  We'll have to wait for coneyislandDFNQ to fix that, but until then, we will have to use the pseudo fix of moving the files.

The sound files should be fine at their designated location in the .exe file.

On a slightly different note, I've created a strip map for the route.

For the .pdf file for this, as well as most other routes hosted here, please head to my Google Docs page here (http://sites.google.com/site/lcsproductions2/home/files).

I apologize for the late reply to the posts. Any of you are stuck let me know and I will make a new installer file that should help everyone out.

@Lance thanks for that strip map its sexy! lol
