Oh It Actually Works For Mac. The Thing Is You Have to Download The Dependencies For Mac.

http://trainsimframework.org/downloads.html

There You Go. Just Follow The Installing Instructions And It Will Work.  :) :)

I Tested That R46 And This Is What I Have To Say.

Acceleration Sound Very Accurate

Switch Point Sounds (When it passes over switches) Very Accurate At Different Speeds

The Squeal When Braking Maybe Put It At 10MPH or Less When Braking

The Motor I Love It.

And The Doors Have The Good *Ding* When Closing.

And The Pressure Gauge And Speedometer Very Accurate.

I Give Your Train 10/10 Error46146 Nice job on that train.  :D :D

most likely the R46 sets will go to the yard where the C is based out of since the (B) (D) based out of Concourse are fully Hippo's and don't plan on sending them anywhere. but this is the T/A's decision. all we can do is wait and see until the report comes in or until someone spots something.

Yeah, unlike some transit systems I know, we do not blow up our trains. That makes no sense and is redundant to scrapping. And by the way, last time I checked, this was a route discussion, not a train discussion.

Well do tell me how they can even be brought back when the fish moved in already?

Not Bring Them Back From The Ocean But Use The Original Design To Bring Them Back From The Factories Make Them New Again. But Like Bstyles Says They Lived Their Life.

I'm sorry, but the St. Louis Car Company closed down in 1973, just after they made the R44s. They're only going to have to fish it from the ocean and make it brand-new.

the design was made by the TA not the St. Louis Car Company. if they where to be brought back they could get built by other manufacturers like Bombardier, Kawasaki, Alstom, Siemens etc.......

so it doesnt matter if the St. Louis Car Company is not around no more.

if the R40 Slants had a chance to return to the city. would you want it them to be NTT's or SMEE trains. if they where brought back under a new build contract called R400 with several option orders.

Transit / Major Fleet Changes For The IRT
« on: May 14, 2011, 08:57:08 pm »
well i just heard from a t/o friend of mine that theres going to be a major fleet change for the IRT.

Half of the R142A fleet on the (6) based out of Westchester yard are going to the Kawasaki plant in Yonkers to be converted into R188's for the (7) based out of Corona Yard.

The Sets Of New Tech that is going to the (7) line will be replaced with R62's that will go to the (6). looks like 62's is coming back to the bronx.

rumor is also spreading of various 62 sets heading back to the (4)

finally the surplus of R142A's from the (6) will head to the (2) line. being based from 239th st yard A.K.A wakefield yard. making the (2) and (5) lines fully new tech train lines even though they are already full of new tech.

also the (7) line is rumored to get CBTC control signals when the final 142A's are converted.

CBTC is also rumored to be placed on the (2) and (5) lines when the surplus arrives.

sources are: 180th st, unionport yard masters, Tamara from teamspeak and bebo.  looks like this is going to be the first overhaul of the 142A fleet.

i believe the market-frankford line is a light-rail?

no its a high speed subway line. an attempt of making a subway line like acela. 2 tracks the entire way. the 3rd rail is in the middle of the track. so its lucky this guy survived. the cars used is like the M8. plus. its not standard U.S gauge. meaning nyc subway trains or any other kind of trains can run on it. anyway back on topic. guy is lucky he survived.

that looks awesome. this line is going to look great when it comes out. and btw all of ya leave the hauling ass to me.  :P
