Looking great! :) But do not forget that the walls on either side of the doors on the R16 (where the ads are) slant inward a bit, like in this picture: http://www.orenstransitpage.com/otpnycpics/r16int.jpg

Unless of course you are making the version with the non-slanted interior walls, it would be nice to have them in

So far, i'm hoping to get the interior of the non-slanted version finished before i continue on to make the slanted version.

Also, i'm trying to find out if there is such thing as a trigger to illuminate objects besides EmissiveColor, this is needed for the northbound and southbound destination rollsigns:

See how this R-16 has "Continental Ave" lit up on the rollsign?

Some more work done:

Preparing the ceiling for it's ceiling texture (before the bulged door panels and side facing seat textures)

Adding the bulged door panels and side facing seat textures

Man, you are just on a roll with this project  ;D Excellent job. But try to make everything a bit less "cartoon-like", perhaps by adding a little texture to the walls, etc, and try making the black edges of the door panels less thick, too. But great job.

Haha yeah, the black edges are actually outlines so i know where i was placing them.

I'm still waiting for a right time to visit the transit museum to finally get photos of the R16's interior to begin replacement of the placeholder interior.

And here we go - animated wheels! (final appearance will have a more rustic look)

some progress of the left side interior (because i still haven't applied the photorealistic sources until they are in their correct spots, however, you can see some partial implementation from Mr Railfan's source):

The R16 for OpenBVE (Trailer 7) - 3rd Rail Gap

Third rail GAP POWER LOSS AT LAST! Though i wish it would work for individual cars (it works but does it for the entire train instead of each individual car). However, i have yet to implement it on the doors and rollsigns, as it requires two of each object.

Currently working on the functionality for the R-16 and Mr Railfan's R30 (which will also have the 3rd rail gap power loss implemented as well), before i resume with the interior details.

Thats awesome though but why are you testing in the LUL.I remember running a NYCT train on their and its the route itself that has the coding for arching in places(not saying the train couldn't had possibly had coding) features. As far as the interior lighting the 1995 LU Stock once it loses power (arching) the train goes dark briefly(1 sec or less).

REVISED sneak-peek, so you can see more of this 3rd rail gap feature on the train:
The R16 for OpenBVE (Trailer 7 REVISED) - 3rd Rail Gap

Thats awesome though but why are you testing in the LUL.I remember running a NYCT train on their and its the route itself that has the coding for arching in places(not saying the train couldn't had possibly had coding) features. As far as the interior lighting the 1995 LU Stock once it loses power (arching) the train goes dark briefly(1 sec or less).

For the train itself to take advantage of this, the code basically swaps the emissive train objects for non-emissive train objects once it crosses a 3rd rail gap, hence, the code must be placed in the .animated files, specifying first a non-emissive object, and the second, an emissive object (for the interior lighting effect). This is what the R16 has implemented, followed by Mr Railfan's R30.

For this to work, it depends on the route having the coding for the 3rd rail gap, since it triggers that ATS state (which is 53). Otherwise, the train will always appear lit.

You can see how it's coded from the train end on this thread:

Understandable now,how easy hard would it be to implement this to the current and future NYCT routes/trains?
