This one is in the MTA Silver/Blue livery as of now.

However, should i create one in the original livery, and later on, the 1960s paint scheme, it will have the original BMT signage and the pre-1967 signage.

This version has the 1967-1978 signage.

It wouldn't be realistic for the silver/blue R16 to have modern rollsigns...

This is turning out to be very, very good! My suggestion is to possibly use a higher resoluion front texture, and to make the storm door projected inward like you did for the R30. Otherwise, it's perfect ;)

This train will have a curved roof, as will Mr Railfan's R30. It is slowly being worked on.

Have a sneak peek on one of it's run sounds  ;)

Interior work will be on hold to allow the curved roof (BStyles) and 3D seats (Rikabs) to be worked on.

I think you should do the curved roof and stop there, make a copy and then resume work. Reason is because then you'd have a low quality and high quality version, then people with really low grade computers could enjoy this and people with really super computers could also. with the high quality versions. from what ive seen 3d really kills older computers. just my opinion but it would be nice for others (excluding me)   ;D

The quality of release will always depend on the creator.  Sooner or later people will have to upgrade their computers.  You don't see power house games releasing a lower quality version of it's game.

But still i believe the majority of the poeple here dont have a Power house gaming machine that can support stuff with 35,000+ poly objects . I am running a 2009 HP labtop that probably cant handle these new releases with the super high poly count in the 3d objects. I also dont have enough money to update to a more modern computer as is the situation with alot of people here , so im in support of the Low Res version and a high res carsion of the train so that we can support everyone (Unless your running windows 98 :P)

The seats of the R-16 is not flat like the R30 and newer cars. They are partially rounded which adds some difficulty. This is what makes it difficult for a legacy version but i will try however. Cannot guarantee this though.

Bluntly speaking, majority of the people here are still kids.  Not trying to be rude or anything but mainly the reason not many people here have a decent machine.

I honestly didn't upgrade my rig to support newer things until I was 19 and saved enough money to take charge for myself.

Still no luck getting a photorealistic cab view.

but hey, i'm also adding in an RFW version as well!

It also responds properly to third rail gaps in sync with the exterior view lighting. Additionally, it can be switched on and off (Light in RFW view off = Exterior view lighting off. Light in RFW view on = Exterior view lighting on)
