I have seen some of those 3D renderings. I posted some as a thread on NYCTF called "The future of Trainz/OpenBVE". Soon that is what we are gonna have our hands on down here. The R68 already has a 3D cab to it, but it needs to be NYC modified, as it looks like a German cab.

He is currently overseas serving our country. Let's atleast give him some time you know. Can't really multi task doing that.

Oh wow I never knew. I hope he is alright and 100%. Let us all put our hats down to BStyles.

The MTA does the summer swap so that the Air Conditioning units in the R32s dont have to work as hard. When they are on the A , the doors are closed for longer and the air is kept cool. If they are on the C the distance between stops is smaller and the Cold air escapes quicker , thus the Air Conditioning has to work harder. Bottom line the MTA is trying to get as many R32s off the road and use the slightly more reliable R46s. Right now the C is 100% r46 , there 22 R46 trains on the A , 14 R32 train sets and 2 R42s out [the other R42 is layed up at 207]. Its most likely gonna stay like this till September.

They needed to start doing this a while ago. On the (B) or <Q> heading to Brighton Beach when they had the R40s, it was literally cooking. The R68s on the (Q) were perfectly fine. It does not matter now, as the entire Brighton is R68/R160.

The only way I can see the (9) Coming back is if the (1) and (9) ran from Van Cortlandt park to New Lots and the 9 being a rush hour skip stop only as the (3) Is a Manhattan only local only train..

Might as well have it come back, 7 Av could sure use the help. But if it doesn't, I would still like to see some (1) service to New Lots Av.

Wow I never knew about that one. Seems like the R44 had some really big plans. I bet they must had thought of that from the R32 Overhaul. Glad they cancelled it though, I don't like the way it looks.

I actually posted that picture. It was actually what they were supposed to do to the R68. This was an early test of the flipdot technology. It was in no way going to the R46. It already got the LCD tech. The R143/160s got LED.

Actually, there IS a yard just north of 168th street, the 174th street yard. It is underground, and is used to store the (C) trains, so technically the (C) line does start from a yard. The Pitkin yard is mainly used to store the (A) trains, not the (C)

Right. Pitkin is used to maintain the R46s on the (A). Just because it is right after Euclid doesn't mean it is for the (C).

We think it will be the first one, but who knows, there are probably hundreds of 3D renderings.

Wow Vince you did a great job. And I would go 100% with expanding it. Great job again, my mind is blown.
