Interesting tool, is there a threshold of how many trees it places? I'm sure there would be performance issues if there were too many objects placed.

BVEStation Network News / Phantom909 or better known as Joe has passed away
« on: November 14, 2014, 08:12:07 pm »
We are sad to inform everyone that Phantom909 or better known as Joe in the NYCTA BVE/NYCTBA community has passed away.  Without him, we would not have this community and others like it here today.  BVEStation's logo on the homepage will be monochrome for several days in his memory, and we thank him for fostering the community of developers, and creating new ones.  He will be missed.

F:\OpenBVE\Railway
F:\OpenBVE\Railway\Object
F:\OpenBVE\Railway\Route
F:\OpenBVE\Railway\Sound

is the correct folder configuration, I'm not sure what the Legacy content is.

Content Development / Re: BVE MOTOR EDITOR
« on: September 15, 2014, 08:41:00 pm »
You need to use OpenBVE's Motor Editor if you are modifying OpenBVE Train files.  The official OpenBVE website appears to be not working right now, so I can't get it for you.  If it does for you, you can look for it there.

Try using this Google Translated version of the site, https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fopenbvemodernizacoesbr.blogspot.com.br%2Fp%2Fhistoriapoltica-de-desenvolvimento.html&edit-text=

We have been looking for a translator to actually help us translate the site, with no luck.

Do you guys have the official link to the exhibit? I've seen it on Facebook at one point, but I can't seem to find it now. Nevermind I have found the link.  Posted at the top.  Otherwise fantastic work you guys have done to be able to bring this to the community for everyone to share.  The routes look more polished than they ever have.

That actually looks pretty good, things seem a bit rusty though, I wonder if they are trying to create a 1980's era 7 line or something

Art & Graphic Design / Re: My latest developments!

I'm afraid its not possible.  The closest thing this can fit into would be Train Simulator 2014, and I have no idea how to do it.

World of Subways looks like some first person horror shooter.  One of the reasons why I never liked it.  Their color scheme just shouts soul-sucking, damp and full of lifelessness.

Anyway its not a simulator nor is it for one.  Its a rendered 3d environment, hence why this topic is listed under Art & Graphic Design.

@ people on Facebook, sorry guys its not OpenBVE!  8)

Do you know who these developers are? Or are they part of the Railworks team?

BVEStation Network News / Featured Works : OpenBVE Modernization
« on: April 08, 2014, 01:39:31 pm »
I was recently approached by a team of Brazillian OpenBVE developers who would like to feature their content.  Their content consists of the transit system located in Rio De Janiero, the 2nd largest city in Brazil, and its surrounding systems.  Specifically the Rio de Janeiro Metro, and SuperVia commuter rail systems and more.

Give them a visit today, and expand your BVE content collections.
