The 7 is definitely not an "easy" line to build. If it were that easy, it would have been done ages ago. The development of the 7 line began long before I was here (and I've been on this site since early 2009) and it's still not done.  There's some progress updates posted on other sites (ie. openBVE Connection) but it's probably going to be a little while  before the 7 line is fully done.

Hmm, maybe I can take a crack at it. Since the (7) is the most easiest, I will try my best on it.

To add on to @YankeesPwnMets, detailing a route sometimes may need totally new objects. Rebuilding routes with newer objects and\or using older objects is not an easy task otherwise I would have been done with my project (A to Euclid) and would have released it. Just like how it takes some time to create/edit a train, it is just as difficult to create/edit a route.

It is currently in development. There is a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLtdYPshgyo. You can, of course, develop a route on your own even if it's already in development. Just know that route developing is a very serious project.

The (7) is in the process of being updated by the OpenBVE Connection developers. Don't know their progress though.
Also EDawg was doing the Manhattan-bound (7) wasn't he? I thought development stopped, if not just slowed down?

That is not the 4 line that is the 6 line. There is a reason why they start on the wrong side of 125, go local, & terminate at Brooklyn Bridge. Don't get confused by the announcements.

So the 6 line is in Beta Testing announcement adding stage and has many different scenarios (e.g 6 Express and 6 via 4 to Utica Etc)

I see quite a few things that could use some work. I am not nitpicking, albeit the route may be completed I see inaccuracies and basic things that can be improved that we are seeing with the development of the (4)(B)(Q) lines.
