Of course. That's how I got a chunk of the files in this thread. You have to convert the video to an audio file (.wav for BVE) and split up the various announcements.

Someone would have to be lucky to get a train operator that would allow them to get those.

As of currently, the (7) doesn't use new tech trains, so getting those announcements is a hard task. Like bve said, one would have to ask the train crew to change the program to one for the (7) when the train's idle at a terminal.

On Youtube there is a video of the (7) and you hear the announcement that the next stop is Shea Stadium.

South Ferry-bound (1) from 137 St-City College to South Ferry.
7zip file
individual files
I don't have the announcements for Rector St.

I knew I forgot something...
Special thanks to NYCREDBIRD and JamaicaQnzFreak from YouTube for the South Ferry-bound and (2) to 137 St announcements respectively.
Also, attached to this post is a list of all the people who I've "borrowed" announcements from. As I may have stated before, I do not claim to ownership of these sounds. I just cut them up into what I need for any particular line.

I'd use WavePad Sound Editor (Google it), a free program like Audacity, that can convert almost any audio file type.
