Other Games / Tom Clancy's The Division

I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm pretty excited about this game! I think the whole idea behind it is pretty interesting, even though it seems to follow the post-apocalyptic trend. Here is the trailer.

Any thoughts?

BVEStation Network News / BVEStation remembers: September 11th 2001
« on: September 11, 2012, 06:01:24 pm »
11 years ago, on a beautiful Tuesday morning, America was attacked by terrorists. A very tragic event that took place in New York City's World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksville Pennsylvania. For lack of time and creativity, I will include the same post I made last year.

Quote
Eleven years ago, on a beautiful September morning, a series of tragic events took place against our nation. On the morning of September 11th of 2001, four airliners were hijacked. Two hit the World Trade Center, one hit the Pentagon, and another one crashed in Pennsylvania. The flights were American Airlines flight 11 which hit the north tower of the World Trace Center, United Airlines flight 175 which hit the south tower of the World Trade Center, United Airlines flight 93 which crashed in Pennsylvania, and American Airlines flight 77 which hit the Pentagon. About 3000 people were murdered that day. People who were just going to work like everyone else. America has and still is suffering from the attacks. Firemen and other personnel went into those burning buildings, knowing that they might not make it out alive, and they still did it. A lot went into the Trade Center that day, but not a lot made it out. That to me, is true heroism and bravery. We remember 9/11. Never forget.

Rest in peace.

Here are two Gillig buses. The pictures were taken from my phone, and one of them is really obstructed. However, notice the white display.

I also took pictures of two day passes.

Transit / [MBTA] MBTA mechanics keep old subway cars rolling

This is a really interesting article on how the Orange Line trains are kept running. Various techniques include recycled parts from the old Blue Line trains, and tricks like using Duck Tape and Deli hair nets to protect the motors from snowdrops.

Hello,

I was working on one of my crazy inventions and was having a bit of trouble.

If you look at the middle track, and at the left platform, you'll see some random gaps. Does anyone know how to fix these? Is it possible at all?

Thanks,
-Jose.

« on: April 03, 2011, 03:06:11 pm »
Hello,

If you look in the homepage, it says the server is offline. I'm having some issues with the DNS services and TCP connections. The server might be unstable for a couple of hours as well. I will try to have this fixed as soon as possible.

Regards,
Jose.

Transit / MBTA Commuter Rail launches "Quiet Car" Pilot program
« on: February 26, 2011, 04:34:05 pm »
The MBTA has recently launched a quiet car program in the Franklin line of the commuter rail. This pilot program is running for 90 days. The car closest to the locomotive is pretty much a rolling library. I don't want to get into details as I don't know enough of it, but here is an mp3.
