High Quality Train + High Quality Route = Lag.

Turn down your viewing/draw distance, this will help.

There's not really much you can do about lag, other than lower down the settings or better, upgrade your computer. You would need a fairly high-power dedicated graphics card and an Intel Core i5 or better for best results on high quality trains/routes.

If anyone needs the url to download openBVE, here it is:

http://openbve.shadow93.info

I'm going to see if it works properly with Windows 10, and attempt to optimize it to allow multi-threading

I am having a similar issue to oporator12, but the game doesn't even load. It shows the image of a train, and then crashes. I have an HP with windows 7. If anyone can help, that would be great. I have downloaded the highest rated version from this website, and a couple of the "fictional" routes with their suggested rolling stock.

Make sure to have OpenAL and the .NET 4.5 Framework installed. Also no need to bump an old topic.
No wonder that ant gets around so fast! He has his own subway.

Eh I don't mind. It was originally intended to cut down on the amount of topics anyway.
