hell no, the A can't even hit 43 approaching 42nd
Yeah Ray trust me on school days riding the (A) I caught a friends train b\c it fit my school schedule perfect and that was the top speed on the entire Leff bound (A) 43-44 entering 42nd.Samething goes with Nostrand Queens bound.And the reason why I said at most 48 b\c 8 car R-32 (C) trains can hit 45+ I recorded being on one that the train hit 47. NYC Subway:R32 (C) express 59th-42nd St 47mph!!
@SIR great video!
Everyone else I want to see more vids!! Won't be on much.

That's typical R32's. R46's are a whole different story

Exactly my point which is why I brought up the (A) and (C) b\c they have that (C) via 8th Av exp G.O often.If ya don't believe me go out and experience 40+ yourself. R-46 (42-44) usually 43 and R-32 (A) (43-44) 8-car R-32 45+
@Pacific and bve wonderful vids!

Nice work you 3! @bve I recommend using a REAL train for the non-fictional routes that 179 fantasy accelerates hell fast and brakes too good I noticed you had minimum brake and had to keep coasting and accelerating while coming in stations.Insane 60mph + man! Great job.

Well, Mr Railfan's R68 is not released yet, so I guess there are no better trains out there to run that route with  ::)

Two words "Be creative" it doesn't have to be a (D) using a 179.How about running a (N) Re-route via West End,(Q) via West End or even the (F) via West End the 160 would be great for that right? You got an R-42 by R&R available! It hasn't been too long since 42's ran the D,u got a Slant on the downloads make it a Yankee Special!
Recommendations: R-38,R-40S,R-42,R-46,R160A/B(Alstom or Siemens).

Well, I was not neccecarily referring to creativity, I just meant that the R68's are currently the main rolling stock for the (D)< Mr. Railfan said he would release the train for the release of that new (D) Line

Well, I was talking about curren normal service (R68)
The 68 available now is better than nothing its not bad.But hey like I said the 160 won't be bad people seem to catch it every few weeks or so.(Mostly re-routed (N)'s or (F)'s though but be creative)!
