No. Try to make it realistic not 1/2 real 1/2 fictional (for a real train)

It's better. However, your screens are unacceptable

this is unacceptable. In fact your modified version is a step BACKWARDS in terms of realism in comparison to the current panel.

Either make improvements to the existing panel that make it look more realistic, or make your own from scratch. (The second option is better really)

A few more things:

1) MAKE YOUR PICTURES BIGGER SO WE CAN SEE THEM
2) Fix the car number picture
3) The bottom part is the most realistic but it's ipac's bottom
4) I don't believe that the top is white
5) On the left Both screens, I'm not sure what the hell that's supposed to be but you need to fix it

Summary: It's better in a way, but you need to actually look at a real panel, look at the one in Error's 160, I believe that you can do much better though, I have confidence in you

4) I don't believe that the top is white
actually the top is white but it still needs to be textured; solid white just isn't good.

yeah the solid white needs to go. I would suggest using GIMP or another similar image editing program to create some texture.

ORRRRRR..... you could make your own realistic panel from scratch. (Which is better)

Let me make this clear: Modifications without permission is not allowed. I let him slide the first time but now he's banned for 6 days.

One question; we can modify open source stuff w/o permission right? Just making sure

as long as you follow the license guidelines and properly credit the creator then yes. In this case the R143 is not Open Sourced

i actually have 2 things to say

1). Use postimage or photobucket so that people can see things clearly in your work
and
2). instead of just changing up a bit on peoples work make your own panel from scratch or take a straight on picture of a real R160 cab
