Found the NEC objects pack a while ago, but I never got around to playing with the files and slapping them together until now. The locomotive is a bit funky, and doesn't quite turn properly, but you can barely notice it. I've also managed to take the Railjet Taurus sounds again and mold them to mimic the AEM-7AC sounds. Not 100% perfect, but it is pretty close. Just a few things to work on with the loop sound and the train physics, and she will basically be complete.

That's a blast! We badly need an NEC route for this train.
One note: the original Amtrak paint for the AEM7 may better match those coaches.
I need to try running that route and train combination. Wow!

Haha thanks guys =P lol if I was able to build a route, I'd b doing so. But quite frankly, I don't have the time to devote to learning how to and then building one of such proportions. Someone else expressed the intentions to build part of the NEC, but I don't expect that to be done for another decade or so lol.

I have restarted development on the sound pack for the AEM-7AC after rediscovering the backup files, and I am pleased to say that I have made significant progress. Only a few things remain to be fixed before I daresay that the train is above 90% accurate in the sounds and physics department. The exterior is an entirely different story. The one in use now is only a place holder, and I am not at liberty to freely distribute it. If someone wants to take it upon themselves to develop a new one, that would be greatly appreciated.

Here it is folks: Version 1.0 of the AEM-7AC, available for public consumption. The next logical update would include a new exterior, panel, and perhaps some Amfleet stock, if someone gets around to building that.
