My guess is that R46s will probably go to the F, displacing the R160s to the B because it's varying destinations lend well to electronic side signs.
Half the crew isn't trained for 160's on the (B) and its a part-time line.It does make sense to me though but yea.And the (F) already has enough trains they wanted it exclusively 160.I'll try to get some info about what the heck is going on b\c this wasn't supposed to happen this soon with the 68 to the G.

There was word for some time that the switch was going to start before the new pick (June 26th). It isn't really a surprise to me.

Look, R160 will NOT go on the B,D no matter how much you think about it. It will be a pain in the ass to change fleets on more than one line, probably the B is gettin 46, D, Or hell maybe even the N, Who knows. They are most likely going to change fleets that ALREADY HAS R68 on them...The G is basically based on Coney Island now, so we don't know what the hell they are going to do, plus putting the R160 on the B,D would mean the R160 will not last, AND, Jamaica would highly not give away there R160's to Coney Island or either Concourse.

Sheesh talking about lasting Jamaica is the shittiest yard in the system and got a surplus of the fleet.I doubt Concourse will give up the 68.Chances are the 46's will roam the N,Q,or B since its C.I based. If not they're gonna go somewhere.

4, they cant run 8 cars, otherwise they'd have to skip Smith-9th Streets.

Thx

Based on the various rumors I heard, this is what I think will probably happen:

Once the R32's are gone, the rest of the R46's will go to Pitkin yard. Jamaica Yard will become completely NTTs (R160s and R179s) since the G is now at CI yard.
I highly doubt the B will get any R46's, it might get NTT's if anything. Also I believe the R46 sign readings are incorrect (they still have the old 90s West End readings).
Concourse won't be giving up their R68's anytime soon, I dont think they'll give up their R68s ever. Expect the D  to keep its current fleet.
the R46's AFAIK are not based out of CI yard, they are only stored there occasionally (well were anyway since the F doesn't use R46's anymore). they are right now based from Jamaica Yard and Pitkin or 207 (one of them does the R46, the other does the R32s)

IIRC 207 does the R32's. Pitkin deals with the R46

Pitkin already has a surplus of 46's anyways. They have a lot of extra cars including the 64 cars of 44's in there.
If the 46's go to Pitkin the 44's may be permanently OOS.If they go to 207 then I guess CI can expect to get some 32's which will most likely be used on the (B) and the (C) will use some 46 and some 32's.

Actually according to a recent listing of the side signs, there are readings for all three normal routes of the (B) line.

Southbound:
(B) BRIGHTON BEACH
(B) 6 AV EXP
(B) BRIGHTON EXP

Northbound:
(B) 145 ST
(B) 6 AV EXP
(B) CENT PK W LOCAL

(B) BEDFORD PK BLVD

My guess on this is that the R46's might go on the C and some R32's on the B I means its the T/A so anything can happen at this point in time and the C has good rider ship if u ask me lets see what happens tho they did have that one 32 set on the B a few yrs back ya feels me.I think thats the logical thing to do but who knows

most likely the R46 sets will go to the yard where the C is based out of since the (B) (D) based out of Concourse are fully Hippo's and don't plan on sending them anywhere. but this is the T/A's decision. all we can do is wait and see until the report comes in or until someone spots something.

Most people (and believe to be true) are saying the R46 are staying at Jamaica, they are sending some R160 to the N while the R68A get displaced to the G from the N, there would be no more R160 on the R, the N will become 100% R160 again.
