Station Talk / Re: New Look
« on: January 26, 2011, 11:21:32 am »
I love the new look. Gotta update it to flash. But forum...
1)More BBCodes - more fun.
2)Change two buttons (agree over 13/agree under 13/do not agree) into one (agree/do not agree). I think here (at BVEStation) are no pedophiles, no strangers, just a OpenBVE NYCT addons, multiplayer and support.
3)Allow 160x160 avatars and many userbars. This will be more fun!
4)Allow personal MP servers, not only central TS server.
5)Enable autocensoring.

graymac-san
I think that you first build the skeleton using RB then manualy fix, like me.
I have permission for source codes but Uwe Post have a very little time for providing it. He is a sci-fi writer. I will next time ask what is new.
OpenRB is now in planning. When Uwe Post releases the sources of the RB, I will fix the problems with grids (i.e. you can't make criss-cross to other railway using grids), walls forms etc (RB considers it as a free object). Nickgoh45 hired as a beta tester.

Other Projects / Re: how do u make Route in RouteBuilder
« on: January 17, 2011, 06:47:45 am »
I gonna make a new open-source RouteBuilder-like program for OpenBVE, called OpenRB 1.4.3. But first I need to do this:
1)Develop three hand-made routes
2)Steal a source code from Uwe Post.

Since RouteBuilder is not in use now, I am going to develop a new RouteBuilder-like program but for OpenBVE, supporting all features of OpenBVE not just freeobj. I gonna to steal Delphi source code from Uwe Post, then make a new C# code and add some features of OpenRB. But first I need to develop three long handmade routes for practice handcoding.

If you are going to build a fictional route like early Harbourvale lines, the main problem is the naming the stations. So how to name the stations?
