I will be hosting a Multiplayer Event on the Teamspeak server Christmas Break all the way through New Years Day!!!! This is a great opportunity for members of the forums to come on the server and introduce yourselves!!

General BVE/OpenBVE / Teamspeak Thanksgiving Weekend Event

How y'all doing?

Ladies and gentlemen it is the annual Thanksgiving Event!!! Come for music, runs and more!!
The usual runs will be done featuring the well known and loved A, B, C and D Lines. The favored N and Q lines, and a special route that will be handed out at this eent.

More info will come in the coming weeks, I will keep you guys posted!!.

General BVE/OpenBVE / Teamspeak 3 Weekend Run 7/26-7/29 [Starting Tonight]

Tonight there will be a run on Teamspeak. We're doing the

A from 207th to Jay Street, and then the F from Jay Street to 71st
or the F from CI to Jay Street and the A from Jay to Euclid or Lefferts or Howard Beach.

Then a run on the N and Q to Bay 50th/Brighton Beach or CI (depending on the amount of people)
N's are out of Astoria to Bay 50th, and Q's out of 57th-7th to Brighton.

To wrap it up we could do an OMSI run if anyone has OMSI.

The run will start around 8-8:30 at this address

Hey guys, hope you guys are having a great day, i just want to take about 2 minutes of your time to join the OpenBVE/BVEStation Teamspeak server for our run today .

BYD plans to expand in the US by manufacturing electric buses in California.

BYD, the Chinese car maker partially owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, will open on May 1st, its plant in Lancaster, California, where it will assemble electric buses, according to Marketing Director Sherry Li. BYD’s electric bus, dubbed K9, is 12-meter (39-foot) long and can reach 155 miles (249 kilometers) on a single charge. The automaker hopes that this move will improve its image in the world’s largest economy, where BYD has seen three years of declines.
BYD relies on public transportation to increase its EV business, focusing mainly on China. Last year the automaker had 200 K9s and 800 e6 electric taxis on the roads of Shenzhen. Currently the K9 and e6 models are in trial operations in Baoji, Shaoguan, Xi’an and Changsha, part of the company’s target to spread the vehicles nationwide.
The vehicles are also in running trials in the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Spain and the US, and the company has won orders from Canada, Columbia, Uruguay, Israel and the Netherlands. At the beginning of this year BYD has received approval to sell its electric buses in the EU countries without any restrictions.

General BVE/OpenBVE / NYCTBA OpenBVE Meeting Tonight @ 8pm

There is a meeting for all NYCTBA personnel. For those who want to join, please download TeamSpeak 3 here: http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=teamspeak3 and go to ts3.co:9002

Tonight's meeting is basically reactivating NYCTBA for OpenBVE!! All non-fictinal routes will be needed to join the NYCTBA. Come on the TS Server around 8pm for the meeting and much more. Also tonight will be the reactivation of BVEStation Radio, now operated by yours truly. Have a good evening everyone and i hope to see some new faces! For those who cant come tonight, there will probably be another meeting on the weekend. Just PM me here, and ill give you a run through of whats going down!

Station Talk / President's Day Weekend Event

The President's Day Event is going to start tonight around 7:30, depending on when everyone else comes on. Remember then TS3 address is : nyc01.mainvoice.net:7099.

Regarding the runs tonight: Tonight we will be doing the MetroTransit Lines by SIR North Shore. The towers are going to be on the elevated portion and the underground portion. It's IRT tonight and when we are done we can do whatever else.

Please use the R142/A or R62/A for those who have it. There may be skip-stop trains, and trains that terminate and deadhead via express. It's going to be an interesting night.

We start at 7:30 or 8:30, and I encourage everyone to come out. It'll be very interesting especially with the BMT runs tomorrow.

When logging onto teamspeak, please use your BVEStation name so there won't be any confusion on who you are.

I will be making a video tonight also, so ease keep this as professional as possible.

Hey guys, i need a banner made for a project that im doing.
I tried doing it myself, but i couldnt get 4 images into one banner. Then it would resize the way i wanted it to, so i came here

Pics needed: New Flyer Logo, a D40LF, a DE40LF, a DE40LFR and a E40LFR.
Text on the banner: Current Project: New Flyer Industries D-Sires, DE-Series and E-Series
on the bottom of the pic, it needs to say with Deandremouse and Nyctrman

Anyone can make one. ill chose the one i like best and ill use that. Ill credit you for your work once testing beginsbecause there will be  a video on Youtube showing the banner and bus.

Other Games / Game Suggestions Anyone?

Been looking around for some transit simulators (for example City Bus Simulator) and none really appealed to me.
Anyone please throw me a bone and give me some suggestions.

Games other than, Trainz, MSTS, City Bus Simulator, Bus Driver, OMSI, and Midtown Madness.
And nothing from Steam

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Compatibility Question

Recently, i have decided to upgrade to BVE 4, but i dont know if the trains/routes here are for BVE 4 besides the 1969 Shuttle.

Can anyone tell me the trains/routes that are here that work for BVE 4? I would really appreciate it.

In OpenBVE is it possible to make pressure sensitive doors? In Philadelphia the SEPTA B-IV has pressure sensitive doors. Observe in this video clip
SEPTA: Northbound and Southbound Trains at Oregon Station (100th Video!)

Listen how the first train made a hiss sound before the doors closed. That was the release brake on the door. In Philly, you have to hold the button or in OpenBVE's case, the F5/F6 button to close the doors fully.

Is there a way to do this?

Sup guys? I wanted to start this thread for fun.
If anyone does runs on OpenBVE, you can put your scores up here.

1. Once you are done the route, go to the main menu.
2. Click review last game.
3.Take a screenshot using Shift + Print Scrn
4. Go into Paint, and press Ctrl + V (like a copy/paste thing)
5. Save, and use imageshack.us to put a URL on this thread

And then everyone will see how you oorate whatever line you want!
