Title: MBTA Commuter Rail launches "Quiet Car" Pilot program
Post by: Bombardier01800 on February 26, 2011, 04:34:05 pm
The MBTA has recently launched a quiet car program in the Franklin line of the commuter rail. This pilot program is running for 90 days. The car closest to the locomotive is pretty much a rolling library. I don't want to get into details as I don't know enough of it, but here is an mp3.

We have this in Philly. The first car of our trains (Reigonal Rail) are quiet cars. Our R6 to Cynwyd pronouced Ken-wid, has only one car. So the whole train is a quiet car

Mmhmm... I'm sure it's not new, but it is in the T. This has got to be rather relaxing, especially going home after a long day...
