So I have tested it on the A Line and I'm impressed by the detailed interior and everything, but the first that I really don't like is that, like the older R68 (with no interior), it's really unpowerful: I get about max 25mph only by climbing up a little slope, between 110th street to 96th street on the Central Park West Line, I can only reach high speeds on straight surfaces. Hopefully it will be fixed in the later uptades

There's nothing I can help with, but I had the same issue on the newer versions of OpenBVE. From the 1.5.1.0 version to the 1.5.497.1339-travis version, nothing worked that good, the v1.5.1.0 was the worst: white textures, lags, blinking textures, back to the menu crash at 50% loading with "out of memory" error messages; then the v1.5.1.2 was better, no lags but still, white screen with only the locked doors indicator and speedometer showing up as I loaded the R40S on the F line, (same thing on the 1.5.1.0 with the R46),game crashing at 50% on some routes depending on the train you chose... And finally the v1.5.497.1339-travis, still nothing, the cab wasn't even showing up, just the brake levers and the speedometer and then the tracks.
That's why I'm sticking to the v1.4.3.0 which works just perfectly.

So as you can see i changed my signature, but due to the resolution it looks crushed like a pancake, so here's the normal version:

Also, don't forget to change the Number Of Motor Cars value in the Train.dat file, or you'll have grey boxes behind the last car, if you want to change to 5 cars, divide this value in two, etc.

OK I resolved it, the issue was the train.dat file, not the extension.cfg file.
So I just put the train.dat file from the 8 car set to the 4 car set folder, then I still had 4 grey boxes behind the 4th car, so I changed the Numbers of motor cars from 24 to 12 in the train.dat file and Voilą.
So the reason why the cab was completely out of the tracks and the sounds were high pitched was because of the position values (X,Y,Z) and the acceleration values, resulting in sound modification.

So if you have the same problem, do this.

Same thing on the 1.5.1.2 version, have to change the 8 car set's extension.cfg file myself then, but if you have any ideas on where does this problem come from let me know please I'm very curious

Ok, I downloaded the G line a while ago and wanted to test it with the 4 car set of R46. When the game started, the first thing I've noticed was that the cab was completely out of the tracks and then I heard that the sounds were high pitched, I inspected the sound folder of the 4 car set and the sounds were ok.
This is the only problem that I've got at the moment so it's not a missing dependencie issue.

I was using the 1.4.3.0 version and now I installed the 1.5.1.2 version, and I did not try yet because I'm moving all Routes and Trains from the older version and it takes a while, plus I haven't downloaded all dependencies yet.
My idea is: I should change the extension.cfg file from the 8 car set myself and see if it works fine.
But first I will try on 1.5.1.2 version of BVE whithout changing anything once I get everything installed.

I just want to know where the problem comes from, this is why I posted this.

I'm downloading it right now, thank you Fan Railer, also I heard that you shouldn't replace the Elevated folder because it will cause problems with the elevated section of the line or something like that, was this true? If it was, has it been fixed?

And yes, time to renovate the A line because it never got updated since 2007, with the new tunnel textures which is awesome, good luck!

Well seems like OpenBVE connection has been modified and some downloads got deleted, I'm luck that I downloaded some trains and routes in time, but let's forget about that and stick to the topic.

Here's the first one guys!

So it's a South Ferry bound R33 6 Local Train passing through Worth Street in the late 70s.
I just took an image of the station and made the train and the background (shadows and light reflexions on the platform and the express tracks behind the train) myself.

Hope you like it!

Again: suggest me what you want me to draw: what train on what line and station, day or night, date [year],etc
