This looks great! Red line? (The red line is virtually next to my house so it would be cool to drive some 5000s or 2600s on it) Keep up the great work. :D
this is not my work. This belongs to Sim and Sam.

Ty and i appreciate that gentlemen and i apologize for losing my composure and professionalism and it will not ever happen again. I have a strong passion for transit and sometimes i let that passion run away with me and cloud my judgement. However that is no excuse for making that personal and for that i ask that you guys accept my sincerest and deepest apology. I still do think what all of you do is noble and respectable to all transit enthusiasts around the world and i am ecstatic and excited to work with you guys and I'm honored to have this chance. I will forever be in debt to you guys for this chance and will never forget it. Ty again and I will be in touch within the next few weeks with mounds of work to pick from and what ever coding you need help with just ask. 👍😏😀

Once again we do not need any sources for the train at the moment...
Well maybe in the near future. Again i feel as though im being shut out on this project because I'm not known to you all and i believe this is unfair. I have good equipment and a good eye for detail not to mention you guys are trying to put together things from my home city. How? When you don't live here? Im not tryina come at u like dat but im feeling mighty disrespected right now because I was under the impression that we all work together and that this was a freeware game where the public could have some input on development and design. I understand you all are the masters but when it comes to things from other cities you should allow some people from those cities to have some input it would be only fair. It's not like we're up to make any money off of this I'm doing it for the love of transit. Things like this have been my dream since I was 4 years old and now you being over 1300 miles away from my city trying to create something from my city telling me I can't have any input. How does that sound?

We don't need pics of the underbody or sounds for the train(already have some ) but thanks for the insists
please accept some of my help I really would like to be a part of this in some way and live sounds live video live pictures directly from the source would be better than just getting it off the internet. This is something that I had been planning on doing myself for very many years in the fact that you guys are getting into it I'd like to be a part of that if I could please it would mean a lot to me. You guys grew up on the mta system and I grew up on the cta system this is part of my childhood and I'd like to help you all displayed to the world. If you go back and some of my threads you will see how very knowledgeable I am of this entire system and how my knowledge could play a very big roll until helping you all design these trains and the routes. Please don't just shut me out like that because you don't know me. Try getting to know me first before you pass judgement.

For now we are doing the 3200 series the 5000 would be after.
That works too since the Morrison Knudsen's 3200 series design is very similar to the Bombardier 5000 series. Be aware that those have DC traction motors. I will begin to gather sounds and head over to the brown line and take some pictures of the under carriages. The grade of the brown line toward the end of the line is at ground level. Very easy to get pictures. Then I will head back over to the yellow line and get your announcements inbound and outbound. I'm extremely excited to help in any way that I can since I am here in Chicago.

As of now we are not sure exactly what rolling stock will be made but we plan 2200,2400,2600,3200 and 5000
the 5000 series Bombardier is what belongs on the yellow line. They are flooding them throughout the system right now. We are over 15 years behind getting our NTT rail cars. All of the SMEE rail cars have mostly been phased out already. So I would suggest start with current rolling stock first and then go back to the classics. However, with doing these NTT rail cars they are going to be just as highly detailed as the R 160 s so be aware what you're up against. Again I can help you with pictures and sounds if needed.

SimCentral and I are kicking off CTA development with the Yellow Line! Check out some of our progress pics at https://flic.kr/s/aHskr7MHjG.
Omg. Ty so so very much Sam.😁👍👍👍 I have been waiting on this for 7 years. This is long overdue. I am from Chicago and seeing as though that our system is sort of the third knockoff of the NYCT system I was hoping someone would get started on it sooner or later. Yes the yellow line would be a great place to start seeing as though it's the shortest with only three stops. I would suppose that you all would move on to the Purple Line next. Maybe just the Purple Line shuttle from Linden Wilmette  to Howard Street. Your major projects are going to be red blue green and orange lines. These are the most detailed and longest routes. Good luck and as I learn more at school on how to write chaining code I can begin to be of more assistance to you. Until then if you need pictures and sounds I will be glad to send them to you. Message me if you need to talk. Thanks again and good luck.

BVE/OpenBVE Support / IRT 7th ave lagging problem
« on: November 05, 2015, 02:59:42 pm »
I've been a member of bvestation for 6 years and you guys have always been helpful with problems that I've had in the past and teaching me how to write some of this gaming code. I appreciate everything that you guys have done for me and allowing me to have an outlet for railfanning. However I'm stumped again So I'm turning to the Masters again. Lol I am having a problem with the irt 7th ave 1 from openbve connect. It lags super hard but no other route i have does that and i have very many others. What can i do to correct this?

I am also having a problem with the 1 from openbve connect. Its lags super hard but no other route i have does that and i have very many others. What can i do to correct this?

Yeah. Truthfully the second one could be pointed out, having its own identity. And it looks appealing in my opinion. Unlike the first one, its kind of way too common, like the R160A and/or R160B.
Too true and option 2 kind of has some M-7 similarities. What do you guys think?

12
it's not really that but you're not the only one I said that before about the windows but i rather focus on the big details first before going into the smaller details know what i mean? lol
Absolutly. I agree. Now as for this new 179 concept,I like option 2 better. It's a fresh spin on the old design. It looks hot. lbs

just make the whole quote in a nutshell. Put it in 10 words or less...
Well as I said they're just suggestions. I know it's not finished and that's why I'm making the suggestions now. Short comments may sometimes become misconstrued so I spoke exactly what was on my mind in its entirety. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers. We're still goodie tho. ;)

Wait, hold on a minute... WHAT did i just read???
Lol. What part didn't you catch?

This is super dope. No disrespect but you guys always say you value our suggustions so I do have a few. I was just wondering if there was anyway to make the windows a little clearer, bring the door frame down just a little because there should be about an inch or two of space between the top of the door frame and the rain shield (gutter)? Also there is some kind of upside down triangular shaped guard on the outside of the trucks that is missing. There should also be a little more space between the cars and lastly what he said about the animated signs not being bright enough. Other than that, everything else is dead on. Btw, great job on getting the static trains to counter act the movement of your train. Bravo! ;)
