The new design is not too bad. A bit plain but it's decent. I like the new design of the website logo!

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Re: Changing Sounds
« on: December 17, 2013, 08:03:55 pm »
That's what he's saying. If you put files in the sound folder but they don't play, you need to change the commands for the sounds to play in the route file, or change the names of all the sound files to exactly the same names as the old files. R32 announcement files and R160 (automated) files just have a difference of being different files, just like if you were to record your own announcements for the route.

There's differences between R32 and R40/R42...

R40 and R42 are pretty much the same design though.

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Re: OpenBVE has stopped working - Q Line crash

The thing with openBVE is that you have to create all the folders yourself. So if you don't have an Objects folder in your openBVE folder, simply create one, and install the objects in there.

Do you have all the dependencies required for openBVE to work? (OpenAL, .NET Framework, etc)

Most likely it's because the wrong transparency color was used in the texture image for the front. It's usually supposed to be blue (unless coded otherwise). Simply use an image editing program to change the area around the front texture in the texture image to the blue color.

Can anyone suggest a way to set up my interpolation settings on the option setting of openbve that will give my good quality???

Try this:

Mode: Bilinear (mipmapping)
Transparency: Smooth

Those are my settings, and my openBVE runs great with them. No guarantees that they will work well for you though, but try it.

Do you mean very realistic animated sparks seen outside the train? No, unfortunately openBVE does not support such complex development yet (unless someone has made a breakthrough and made it possible, if so, please share it here). However, the newer routes available on this website have generic blue light flashing onto the tracks at third rail gaps to simulate a spark.

After only 8 hours of development, I present to you SEPTA Regional Rail Push Pull Equipment. Powered by a fictional AEM-7AC rebuild for SEPTA (AEM-7DCs to come later), consists include 6 and 7 car Comet I and Comet II sets. Enjoy:

Very nice! But please, there's no need to post the exact same thing in two different threads. Just saying, thanks! :)
