1) You open the link
2) You scroll down to "Development In A Nutshell" and choose the one you're interested in
3) Click the link and then choose which format you would like to code in. once you open that, you should have "Development In A Nutshell"

Jump to: navigation, search

Many routes, for OpenBVE and BVE alike, are commonly coded in two formats. That is:
 The .CSV Route
The .RW Route

Additionally, you can also learn to use the built-in plugins:
Using ATS
Using ATC

Some people have also created routes using Routebuilder. If you want to try the unsupported graphical (WYSIWYG) route editor, you can do so. We have very limited support for Routebuilder, so if you do plan to use this and have questions, you may or may not recieve answers due to the extremely low amount of developers on BVEStation using it.
 Creating Routes with RouteViewer

Some people have used plugin commands for their routes. The most frequently used plugins are the Oskari plugin and the UK Train System plugin
 Using Oskari's Plugin (OS_ATS1.dll)
Using UK Train System Plugin
That's What The Page Look Like's?? i clicked on route.

I Clicked On The first 2 after using "ATC AND using ATS"  And it said something like this There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title in other pages, or search the related log.

Here ya go:

If you want to use routebuilder, here's a tutorial:
http://www.bvestation.com/forums/index.php?topic=3024.0

I'm still working on porting the rest of the documentation (hence why some pages don't exist yet), but these are your essential abc's on object, route, and train development. Any questions, feel free to ask. I'll deal with the plugins section once i finish porting those too.

UPDATE: I just added the using ATS and the using ATC tutorials.

Even though most of the developers encourage hand coding, here's where to get Routebuilder:

Please visit, http://www.bvestation.com/devzone.php

I recommend you read the tutorial by Dennis Lance, it is by far the most comprehensive yet most detailed tutorial out there, and is great for beginners.  You will be able to learn the basics, then learn from reference from then on.

If you have any questions regarding any specifics, you can ask here in the forum.
