@ 0:58 were those really chains that hold up the train together?

Like the one in this pic

If so thats amazing on how you did that. Even though I heard that when the trains are on a curve it would look weird when playing it

Had to use this crappy screen recorder :P

OpenBVE - 1950 Lexington Ave. El. Manhattan Junction - Sumner Ave.

Really tricky trying to operate the R1.

If you here any Windows vista "Dings" in this video, disregard that lol. I was changing the sounds while I filmed the video lol

Art & Graphic Design / Scrolling Bus Signatures Request Thread!
« on: July 22, 2012, 03:10:34 am »
I am proudly to announce that scrolling bus signatures are up for request!

I finally mastered the techniques of making a scrolling bus signature. There wasn't any other scrolling sigs out there in BVEStation besides Pitor160,even though nobody knows what happened to him and why he disappeared, I decided I that make scrolling signs should be alive here in BVEStation. So here I am taking any requests for a scrolling signature.

Heres my first try. I know the quality looks like crap, but this is my first time doing this. But dont worry the second time is a charm so Ill step up my game.

Just the first try. so the next one will be perfect. ;D

*****EDIT***** ______________________________________________________________________________________

Ok heres the second one I made. the more recent scroll sign that I just made 7/22/12 6:46 AM

Looks better ehhh?! 8)

Requests are open!

Nice to see the Orion V CNGs still alive somewhere in the city. Nice shots!
I swear theres like a shitload of CNG's in Flushing - Main Street. Its like a riot of buses trying to make its way lol. and thanks!

Not really. CP has all the C40's already. The next buses to come are the 3G CNG's. Nice pictures
3G's in CP. that's horror. lol. i mean the regular Orion 7's are fine but those 3G's are disgusting. once I rode the Q27 with a 3G, i died (in a bad way) those buses had no interesting feature in them. the exterior looked kind of decent, but the way the bus sound, it was really boring for me lol. And thanks!

Thanks. not really of a catch, but since this route is being replaced with those ugly C40LF's I thought that I should take pictures of these CNG's before they retire.

I swear some Police officers and employees are smart, and some are total dumbasses.

IRT Subway: Bronx Bound MOW train with R22s (Yellow) trains at 125th Street
the officer in this video doesnt seem to notice that its legal to take videos/pictures of the MTA systems. (With restrictions) Skip to 3:05

IND: R160 (E)(F) Train at 57th St with Stupid Teens making a Commotion on the (E)![HD VIdeo]
and the officer that came off the R160 F literally did nothing, minding his own business and continued on with his job.

To show proof that its purely 100% legal to take pictures/videos, id show this to a person who complains

Hope this comes out successful!

Didn't really make much of a big difference, but every single frames per second counts I guess. lol
On average my FPS reach from 30 - 40, now its from 30 - 45. :P

Unless you have a big old CRT monitor (The ones that bulge out in the back), you usually do not need to enable vertical synchronization.

Otherwise all it does is eat up frame per second doing nothing noticeable
That vertical synchronization was already enabled when I re-downloaded openbve just a couple of days ago. I didn't really know much of the purpose of the V-Sync is, so I just left it on anyways lol

Just asking, does this petition relate to photography in the subways/bus system or MTA rules in general

Btw its a good thing that you created this petition, because if there were to be an argument between an MTA employee and a railfanner, I think that the employee isn't aware of his/her rules of conduct.

Ive seen some videos on youtube where an employee complains about that you shouldnt be taking pictures/videos of the train or bus. Ive also seen some other videos where a police officer walks literally right by or stands near a railfanner taking videos/non-flash pictures of subways and buses, and they don't complain at all !

That doesn't work. However, can you (or anyone, of course) show me a screenshot of their OpenBVE settings (options tab)? Thanks
I dont know how this would help but whatever you need to get rid of the problem. Anyways heres mine
