I thought of this idea (or proposal according to ipac) while I was operating the (R) shuttle. Most of you are wondering
why I am starting this topic.
This is a great idea because:
-1/2 of the extension of the (D) line can be completed
-shorten the time of developing the extension
-the (R) shuttle's layup track can be used for the mean time
You all might be thinking: "What is this (D) shuttle?" Well, before the (B) was switched with the (W) it used to run to 36th street from Coney Island. The (W) also did this during late night, until (N) service resumed.
Sure you can name it the (B) shuttle, but since the (D) extension is via West End to Coney Island, why not make the (D) run to 36th street? If we complete the West End Line the only stations that will have to be completed is Atlantic Av-Pacific St.
I myself believe this can contribute to the (D) extension easily, but it might be a fictional route on the other hand since it's a historical route.
heres the map of the route below:

I'll ask you all to post comments and your opinions below about this
UPDATE I may extend it to Pacific St
