I chose to leave the sound in, and I think I will for any other time lapse I create, since I do find it kind of hilarious to listen to the sped up sounds. Feel free to disagree with me =p. The x2 speed comes first, and an x4 speed follows. Let me know which is better. PS, I have included the original unmodified clip at the bottom in it's full length for anyone who wishes to watch the full ride at normal speed to enjoy. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all =)

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Question about the R62A run sounds
« on: November 28, 2011, 10:06:32 pm »
Hey guys, so I've been running the R62A that you can download here, and the run sounds are amazing and all, but the thing is, they're programmed so that the intervals increase according to the km/h of the train and not the mph. So for example, the run sounds at 20 mph are actually supposed to be the ones at 32 mph (as 32 km/h = 20 mph). So in short, the run sound intervals increase faster than they should.

I've tried changing the speedometer display from km/h to mph through the panel.dat file, but that has no effect on the run sound interval change, and I can't find anything in the train.dat file that would correspond to run sounds; just motor sounds.

Any help here? Thanks =)
