Practice landings in FSX
« on: January 02, 2012, 05:06:13 pm »
Does anyone know any short routes in FSX where I can take off and then practice landing (both ILS and manual landings)

I know that Snohomish County and Seattle - Tacoma International is 30 miles apart, but I've done this practice run so many times I want to try out other routes.

FSX players, do you have any suggestions?

One of my favs is a quick flight from Philadelphia international  [KPHL] to JFK [KJFK] or vice versa

If its a small plane try Republic to Teterboro. Commercial Airliner try Bogota , Columbia to Quito, Ecuador. Getting a jetliner into Quito is a nice challenge.

I agree Quito is hard. I've done plenty of over runs and I've also too much altitude sometimes. I've yet to get a decent landing into Quito. One mission in FSX requires you to bring a 747 into Quito and that mission is insanely difficult IMHO
