The "weird file" you are talking about is a .7z file. Download the Free and Open-Source File Archiver 7-Zip to extract it's contents just like a .zip file.
Link to 7-Zip: http://www.7-zip.org/

Then, put the extracted folder in to the "train" folder in your OpenBVE installation.

If you have WinRar or any other zip program, it should unzip it also.  I mean I never changed to 7zip, still using WinRar since high school.

Yeah i had a program to unzip it but it wouldnt because it was a automatic one, the one that you sent me in the link worked for the r38 and the F line but it keeps saying i have like 1025 files missing and i have all the required routes to run it. Can u also tell me what is the best line to use as far as graphics and accuracy.

Try the (D) Line. It is the newest non fictional route

The D line has an above-ground portion south of the 36th Street station, and also we have the F and A lines which both have detailed elevated portions.

I cant seem to get the (F) line working properly, it misses 1031 files, i followed the steps of another member on the forums but no luck. i have the (A) and (V) and id really like to use it
