The R40 Slant is scheduled to be updated later this evening. The update will add in newly coded GE 1257E1 DC Traction Motor sounds among other minor changes:

GREAT! I used it for F line and drove from Coney Island to Jamaica. What a nice evening! Thank you.

BTW it's a pity that brake lever covers speedometer at idle position, but it's the detail.

nice!

Is there an animated door open indicator? There's provisions for it in the train object folder but I don't see it outside the train.
Aah! God damn this 15 year old desktop PC!

Not at this time. This will be implemented in the future. You are right about there being provisions for it by the way.

To Mr.Railfan and others who created this, Bravo. Finally someone got it right. What I mean is the Straight Air Needle (red) moves when braking is applied/released. The Brake Pipe(black needle stays put unless you dump the train. I'm with the MTA and to see this train be spot on is fantastic. The acceleration/ braking is spot on. The only suggestion I have is, those 2 red lights that come on when braking, those are called dummy lights for the handbrakes. You should try to incorporate that when the train is in emergency and clears when fully charged up. Then goes on when you put the train into emergency again. But again Bravo to all with this one.

The first screenshot of the R40 Slant shows an  approach to a highly detailed 42nd St. station.  What route is this from?  I checked the A and D routes but that screenshot is not from those routes.
