I was out there on 6/1, and the balance between R46's and R32's on the A was much more even. I think about half and half.

Also managed to catch what I believe was an SMS'd Pair. The ride was quite smooth, and I was thankful for the relatively clean Railfan Window.

for now, the Montclair & Boonton Lines and the Morris & Essex lines will be the ones that the locomotives do runs on. Once there territory is expanded, I would think North Jersey Coast Line would be the next best candidate. After that, we would have to wait for the powers that be to give the all go for revenue service into Penn Station before we see any major changes in where they are put into service. I also heard that the Port Jervis line may be receiving a few since the dual modes are slated to replace NJT's F40PH-2CATs, a lot of which run up that way from Hoboken.

Only 04 and 06 currently, and 04 has been powering the trainset rotation for the last two days. Here's a video of the mode change from electric to diesel at MSU:

(A) 207th street---------168th street
      168th street---------Lefferts Blvd
       Manhattan Local/Brooklyn Express-vise versa
       8th Avenue Local/Fulton Local
       207th street--------Euclid Avenue
       207th street-------- Jay Street-Metrotech
       brooklyn bound via (F).
i wish i could make these but the concept of codings too complicated for me. so im just giving these out

Since the A already exists, you can always read through the route file and cut it off after a certain station to make that your GO routes. You can also utilize the C route for some of the A GO's.

As a tip, you can always go into the train.dat file and change how the doors operate on the trainset itself. It's different from what your asking, but I'm just making this aware in case you feel like fiddling with that too.

Go to the "Stations*" and read the entry there.

Then open up the CSV route file for the W express in microsoft excel. Go to cell B-673. you will see the following:

.sta 205th Street;14.3123;14.3130;0;1;0;0;;10;247;\NYCT-W3\205_dep.wav;

It will follow the same format as the BVE2 command box in the website I linked to you. In order to change the times, change the following values: 14.3123;14.3130

The first one is arrival time, the second is departure time. Format is as follows: Hour.minutes seconds. so 7.1330 is equivalent to 7:13:30 (7 o clock, 13 min, 30 seconds).

You should now be able to manipulate the schedule as you please. If you have any trouble, just ask for help.

NOTE the excel cell information I provided pertains to the 205th street station. In order to find the other three stations that have the messed up time, use the Ctrl+F feature and search the first part of the station name that needs to have its timetable changed. So for your particular case, you will need to type in 209th, Bedford, and 197th into the search feature to find the cells with the pertinent coding information. After you chance the timetables with for all four stations, you should be able to run the route without being hindered by the scheduling.


To the community in general: If someone asks for coding help, especially if it's something as simple as changing a schedule in a route, it is only courteous to actually help them instead of throw them a link and hope they can figure it out. Doing that just discourages potential developers from exploring the concept more.

Will 3rd rail gaps be put in on this route?

on the SMEE version - yes ,even though alot of smee's have batteries to prevent power loss .


NTT version - no , the NTTS have a battery that prevents the loss of power .

Just fyi, but NTT's still lose traction and HVAC power when going over third rail gaps.

I do believe we have an M7A for BVE/OpenBVE. Not sure about where to download from.

That train is no longer in the public domain, as it's creator has pulled it from the web.
