i like how you put the bulbs in when it got dark, when its dark you should put the light marks on the letter template that way you can make out where the lights are on the rollsign, the nose could use some touching up, and are you going to use the scrolling rollsigns?
-
wow u read my mind haha just like in the picture you posted

It's coming out great! You should also make a non-air conditioned car as well. Word is that they had slight differences in the interior and exterior I believe

not really. just the interior had a minor difference, and that is the ceiling.

Yes, that is right. As I said, there should be two versions, one air conditioned and one not. Or the air conditioned and non-air conditioned cars could be mixed together in one consist
-
They're both air conditioned, only that they have different systems. It all depends on what you guys want to do.
BStyles

@Bstyles, There were actually two versions... Non Air Conditioned and Air Conditioning... If you guys have the Subway bible it tells all about it... Plus i can tell you from self experience that they were non air conditioned cause i rode them :-) @Mudwrestle, I never post anything up here but now you striked my interest... As well as CT1660 with that fantastic R16.. Actually all you guys stepped up your game and i'm very proud of all of you... Keep up the good work

Yea he's right bstyles there was the R40 without A/C and R40A with A/C
-
Correct. It said in the subway book, there were A/C and non-A/C R40's and they had those different ceiling layouts like in the pictures CT1660 linked to.

Nice, although I would do something about the lights as iirc the 40 slants did not have backlit advertisements; it had the R32 style lighting.

Sweet! So glad that works continued! ;D
-
It looks great! Textures look a bit low-res, but that's forgiveable for a project relying so heavily on internet photos. Remember to make the interior walls photorealistic :)
-
