Title: Physics for an R68a
Post by: Ramirez1523 on June 17, 2015, 01:26:30 am
Does anyone know where i could get a train.dat file for an R68a? I took  Eddie Yee one off of the form and applied it to the R68 cab we have, but when i did that the physics really seemed off on it, I was just wondering if there is one in the process? or if there is a better one out there?

Thanks!

That one is an R68, The difference is the R68a has the infamous delayed braking

You can easily edit the brake physics yourself by going into the train.dat file and manipulating the brake application delay command.
Quote
#DELAY
0.8            ; DelayPowerUp
0.1            ; DelayPowerDown
0.1            ; DelayBrakeUp
0.2            ; DelayBrakeDown
As common sense would dictate, all values are in seconds.
