i still dont get it why the G train cant go back to its six cars. even though the v is eliminated. in my opinion, it should go back so that more passengers can go on the train

It's not used that much like the rest of the routes. Remember the MTA has a specific budget

the MTA wants the G to be OPTO. you can't do OPTO with a full length train

the G has enough cars, remember that one full set of R68/A equals 2 sets for the G.
