Official Thread for the Brooklyn-Crosstown Local (9)
« on: May 12, 2011, 05:56:29 pm »
I have suspended the other project since i know this one will be completed first.

The (9) will run from all terminals in the Bronx to Queens and to Brooklyn. It will terminate at Flatlands Avenue. Here are the list of stops that I remember off of the top of my head.

Brooklyn Bound Service (9)<9>

207 Street - (A)(1)
242 Street - (1)
Woodlawn - (4)
Norwood - 205 St - (D)
Gun Hill Road - (2)(5)
Eastchester - Dyre Av - (5)

Then it helps the (6) line until Cypress Avenue from Pelham Bay Park. Crosses Randalls Island into Queens and here are the stops Brooklyn bound:

Astoria - Ditmars Blvd - (N)(Q)
LaGuardia Airport
Main Street - (7)
Forest Hills - (E)(F)(M)(R)
Sutphin Blvd - (E)(J)(Z)
Lefferts Blvd - (A)

Into Brooklyn:

New Lots Avenue - (3)
Flatlands Av-Remsen Av - Connection to the B7

Yes it does, but if your line is going through a toll bridge, don't you think it will be very hard to do this, especially on the Triboro Bridge?

lol thats why its fictional and i put the route mostly underground due to its irregular track work if it was real.

Here is how the the sign would look on a R142/R142A:

outside stations are hard for me to do. Especially when you saw the ghetto work i did lol

I wasnt updating this because i am detailing the stations and fixing any errors.

This line will be using a mixed rolling stock of R142A/R152 shipped to the East NY Yard.

The (9) express which i will be making soon will be the first fictional to have CBTC kits on trainsets and line.
